Wednesday saw the gathering 10 people who all shared a common history – They had at some point all been enveloped by the Amey hall. The congregation marked the retirement of Chris Biggs – “Amey hall administrator”. His encouragement (Albeit not immediately obvious) of the development of so many young boys into worldly-wise characters is un quantifiable. Four past crew were joined by several past and current members of staff. An evening of catching up, recalling stories and much laughter wasn’t complete until the customary Biggsy lecture was curtailed. Here’s to the hall and everyone who sailed in her.
Theater administration is to be taken on by a new employee of the school as a full time post. It will be interesting to see how things change.
